One way that we support our association’s mission of education and outreach is with our Carlton County Fair Bee Hut and Pollinator Gardens. This is also a big fundraiser for NEMNBA. 15% of honey sales go to our association.

Volunteer opportunities include being a Bee Hut Greeter, helping with Honey Sales, and squeezing for Honey Tasting.

What is going on at the Bee Hut over Fair Weekend?

• Beekeeping questions and friendly advice
• Resources to pick up or read
• Observation Honey Bee Hive
• Free Honey Tasting
• Honey for sale (from NEMNBA members)
• 25 cents Honey Sticks for sale – we will have 5000 in 2024
• Pollinator Friendly demonstration garden, bee lawn, and meadow

Volunteer and bee a part of the fun and support your association!!
